Nominees for Urban Music Awards 2010

Annually the Urban Music Awards pay tribute to the talents of artists and musicians, with ceremonies taking place in various countries, such as Japan, the United Kingdom, France and the United States of America. It is anticipated that the Urban Music Awards will develop and be hosted in other countries, recognising the invaluable contributions made by urban artists, record labels, producers, DJs and other members of the urban music industry. The awards were created to celebrate the work done by urban artists, and incorporate a variety of music genres such as Jazz, R&B, Neo Soul and Dance.

Sammy Hagar and Aerosmith Tour

The iconic rock band Aerosmith has just completed a successful tour called "Cocked, Locked, Ready To Rock", and have now confirmed another sixteen dates. The tour will kick off on 23 July 2010, and the band has invited two top class acts to join them. Sammy Hagar is one of those acts, and it is gearing up to be a music spectacular that fans should not miss out on. With Aerosmith and performers such as Sammy Hagar in the line-up, fans should book their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Outside Lands Festival 2010

During the famous gold rush days of San Francisco, The Golden Gate Park was referred to as the Outside Lands. On the maps of the 1860s the park area was desolate and uninhabitable, but as the city began to expand and grow the park became a part of the city in the year 1866. Today the Golden Gate Park is no longer a waste land but a thriving attraction that draws millions of visitors each year, offering tranquil lakes, museums, endless grassy meadows and historical monuments to those who enter through its gates. It is also the venue of the annual Outside Lands Festival, which will be hosted in August this year.

Farewell to SA Opera Star

The life of Siphiwo Ntshebe reads like a fairytale, rising above an impoverished childhood to become one of the best up and coming opera stars South Africa has ever seen. But it was with great sadness that the announcement was made by the family members of this rising star that he had passed away at the tender age of 35 due to acute bacterial meningitis on 25 May 2010. Often referred to as the Black Pavarotti, Siphiwo Ntshebe, was the jewel of South Africa, spreading his message of hope throughout the world.

Bon Jovi Exhibition in the UK
