Global Drum Project on the Road Again

Fifteen years ago the widely acclaimed album “Planet Drum” earned a Grammy Award in the World Music category. After an absence from the touring scene for almost a decade, the Global Drum Project is on the road again with a tour that is taking them to twenty-three cities in just over a month. Fans from Tucson to Minneapolis are looking forward to performances by the talented musicians Mickey Hart, Zakir Hussain, Sikiru Adepoju and Giovanni Hidalgo again.

The Prestigious Royal College of Music

The Royal College of Music (“RCM”) in London was established by the Prince of Wales (who later became King Edward VII), in the year 1882. This prestigious college remained linked with the Royal Family through its entire existence and is still presently associated with them. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother) was President of the Royal College of Music (RCM) for forty years, until the seat was given to The Prince of Wales in 1993.
