First Video On Demand Awards Nominees Listed

Music Choice is an award-winning, multi-platform music and video network that understandably has a great reputation and an even greater following. So it seems only natural that the network begin its first official awards ceremony. The list of nominees for the new awards ceremony was released on November 17, 2008.

Music Choice is the top free video-on-demand (VOD) network in the country and sees thousands of people tuning in to enjoy their favorite music videos daily. The MOST DEMANDED music awards are designed to be a celebration of those videos that have made it to the top during the course of the year. The various videos or originals are selected according to their projected music video orders for the year. Each nominee has to have a projected order of one billion. There are twenty Most Demanded award nominees in each of the twenty different categories. The categories for the 2008 Most Demanded music award from Music Choice are: Hit List/Pop Video Of The Year, Loud & Proud/Rock Video Of The Year, Lol! Video Of The Year, Breakup Video Of The Year, Rap Video Of The Year, Alternative Video Of The Year, Do That Dance Video Of The Year, Mega Vista!/Latin Video Of The Year, What The…? Video Of The Year, Fandemonium! Artist (artists who have the most frenzied fans), Most Demanded Artist Of The Year, Collabo Video Of The Year, Hate To Love It Video Of The Year, Hip-Hop + R&B Video Of The Year, Country Video Of The Year, Fresh Crops/New Artist Of The Year, Steamiest Video Of The Year, Ones 2 Watch For In ’09, Music Choice Original Of The Year and Most Demanded Video Of The Year.

The first-ever Music Choice Video On Demand awards show will be taking place on December 1 and continue for the duration of the month. It will be presented in four parts on Music Choice on Demand and will be hosted by the stunning Jessica and Janelle Martinez from Prima J (Geffen Records).
