Midwinter Picnic Promises Prime-Time Entertainment

With winter well on its way for those living in the northern hemisphere, people are always looking for great ways to spend their holiday time. The 2009 Midwinter Picnic promises to be very entertaining. Already a great team of acoustic artists have volunteered their services to ensure that the event is a success. In fact, as many as ten of the UK’s finest will be entertaining crowds at the intimate West Hill Hall setting in Brighton. These performers and songwriters are known for various music styles, such as pop, traditional folk and punk, so there should be plenty for everyone to enjoy. The event is a charity event that has the goal of raising funds for Amnesty International, so supporting the 2009 Midwinter Picnic should be very appealing for most music lovers.

Volunteers include Spiers 7 Boden, Jim Bob, Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo, Tom Williams, Brendon Cleary and Timothy Victor’s Folk Orchestra. Still more DJs and special guests will be announced closer to the time. Singer Chris T-T, who oversees the event, will also be performing. Chris T-T has teamed up with London promoters Lexapalooza Presents this year to ensure a fabulous holiday event.
