Music New Brunswick Awards

The very first Music New Brunswick Awards ceremony was hosted in the Crowne Plaza located in Moncton, Canada, on Saturday, 9 October 2010, and was a very memorable event for everyone involved. It was felt that there was so much established talent and developing talent in the New Brunswick region, that it was time to bring recognition and honor to the artists and members of the music industry by establishing an award exclusively for them. With the success and praise recieved in regard to the awards and its ceremony, it is believed that this event will grow and develop positively every year.

The inaugural winners for the 2010 Music New Brunswick Awards were as follows:

Andy Brown, winner of the Emerging Artist Award, praised the Music New Brunswick Awards and the evening of celebration by saying: "It was so much fun to be in the same room with so many of my friends, and with musicians that I really look up to and who inspire me by what they're doing. I think this really gave New Brunswick artists something to be proud of." The Music New Brunswick Awards managed to bring a group of artists, songwriters and musical talents together under one roof to celebrate the talent of New Brunswick and provide this region with an awards ceremony that is prepared to recognise their efforts and contributions.
