Ozzfest 2010

Ozzy Osbourne is known throughout the world and has enjoyed years of success in the music industry. Fans have remained faithful to this legendary musician and, not surprisingly, have supported him wholeheartedly when he inaugurated the Ozzfest in 1996. This musical extravaganza has grown in popularity with each passing year, and this year the festival will be back again with a star studded line-up of bands and musicians, including performances by Ozzy himself. For loyal heavy metal music enthusiasts, the Ozzfest is the event of the year, while for others it is a rare opportunity to see legendary artists perform on one stage together.

The Ozzfest 2010 will once again bring the best of hard rock and heavy metal genres to the audience, including genres such as thrash metal, hardcore punk, gothic metal, industrial metal and alternative metal. Together with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne has ensured that the main stage, as well as the second stage, is crammed with breathtaking performances, with the main stage featuring the likes of Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne, Nonpoint, Rob Halford and DevilDriver. Other artists to look forward to include Saviours, Black Label Society, Kataklysm, Goatwhore, Drowing Pool, Skeletonwitch and Kingdom of Sorrow. Having Motley Crue perform at the Ozzfest this year is a very special occasion for both the band and Ozzy Osbourne, as they have not performed together since 1984, making it the first time in twenty-six years that the two bands will be touring together.

The San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernardino will be the host of the kickoff event for the Ozzyfest 2010 tour on 14 August 2010, followed by performances at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Chicago (17 August), the First Niagara Pavilion in Pittsburgh (19 August), the Comcast Theatre in Hartford (21 August), Susquehanna in Camden (22 August) and the Comcast Center in Boston (24 August). Tickets to this massive music extravaganza will go on sale on the 22nd of May 2010, and music enthusiasts should ensure that they get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. It is guaranteed to be an unforgettable tour for performers and audiences.
