Pussycat Dolls To Embark On ‘Doll Domination’ Tour

They’re sassy and saucy and get hearts racing and feet tapping across the globe on a daily basis. The Pussycat Dolls have gone from burlesque troupe to pop girl group sensation in a relatively short period of time and now they’re getting ready to take the UK by storm when they embark on their Doll Domination Tour.

The now famous Pussycat Dolls started life as a dance ensemble in 1995. The group started working together as a burlesque troupe in Los Angeles before moving on to become a pop girl group in 2003. They have been involved in Reality TV programs, worked as a Las Vegas act and have taken part in numerous other ventures during the course of their career. However it seems that the group’s pop music career has skyrocketed to global success since the release of their first single in 2004. Their second album, Doll Domination, was released on September 23, 2008, and the group is looking to follow up the success of their second album by embarking on a number of tours, starting with the UK.

Group members Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberley Wyatt will be performing tracks from their second album during the course of their UK tour. The Doll Domination album has debuted in the top five in both the UK and US during the month of September and the tour is likely to be a massive success. The group will also be performing songs from their ‘PCD’ album, which sold more than seven million copies, and will be releasing their next single on December 1st. R&B superstar Ne-Yo will be a special guest on the tour. The UK leg of the Doll Domination tour will be kicking off on January 18th in Aberdeen, before making its way to Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bournemouth, London, Manchester, Cardiff and Sheffield. It’ll end in Liverpool at the Liverpool Arena on Feburary 6. Tickets are already on sale so you should get yours now to make sure that you don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Pussycat Dolls on tour.
