2009 Grammy Award Winners
Every year the who’s who of the music industry gather for one of the most prestigious and illustrious annual music events – the Grammy Awards. The awards were established in 1958 and have just enjoyed their 51st Grammy Award celebration with a long list of outstanding musical accomplishments.
As always, the 2009 Grammy Awards saw performances by prominent artists take place during the awards ceremony. Fans from across the globe were able to tune in on the live-broadcast event and watch their favorite musicians being invited up to the stage to accept the shiny little gramophone statuette that has become synonymous with the Grammy Awards. The 51st Grammy Awards took place on February 8, 2009, at the Los Angeles Staples Center and it was definitely a night to be remembered. As usual one or two musicians took home a number of awards.
