T in the Park 2010
The T In The Park 2010 will be hosted in Balado, Kinross-Shire, Scotland, from the 9th to the 11th of July 2010. It is an event that is jam-packed with award winning musical performances, entertainment and fun, and has secured a star-studded line up for this year’s event. Fans will be able to see their favorite musicians performing live, and can either take a day trip to the festival or stay for the weekend. Camping facilities are available, so there is no excuse not to attend this breathtaking music extravaganza.
There will be a variety of stages at the T In The Park 2010 that will each feature its own unique line-up of artists, with stages such as the King Tuts Wah Wah Tent, Red Bull Bedroom Jam Futures Stage, NME Stage and the Slam Tent. There will be headlining acts on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Futures Stage on each day of the festival, including Echo & The Bunnymen, Julian Casablancas and General Fiasco. Other leading artists and bands to look forward are Mystery Jest, Babyshambles, Ash, Laura Marling, The Drums & Tricky, Hurts, Chapel Club, Eminem, Faithless, Groove Armada, The Proclaimers, Airbourne, Black Eyed Peas, John Mayer, Skunk Anasie, Carl Cox and the Stereophonics. Echo & The Bunnymen will be performing on the 9th of July and are known for their hit album The Fountain that was released last year. The band is led by the legendary Ian McCulloch. Singer and songwriter, Julian Casablancas, can be seen on stage on 10 July, entertaining audience members with hit songs from his debut album, Phrazes For The Young.
The T In The Parkfestival is a popular music event in Scotland, and organizers are once again expecting capacity crowds of approximately 85 thousand screaming fans. They have also ensured that festival goers will be entertained during the day, as well as in the evenings with numerous additional attractions, such as food stalls, vendors, markets, cinema and fairground. On the Friday there will again be an annual Fancy Dress Friday, where festival goers are able to let their imaginations run wild with creative, extravagant, colorful and fun costumes. Tickets to this extraordinary event have already gone on sale, and music enthusiasts are advised to ensure their place at the T In The Park 2010 as soon as possible.
