Numerous noteworthy contenders were listed as nominees in various categories for the 2010 MTV VMA Awards. The Video Music Awards ceremony was held at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, on 12 September 2010, and had a few surprises in store. After receiving eight Video Music Awards at the ceremony, Lady Gaga is viewed as the next Madonna of our generation and has most definitely cemented her career into the annals of history. Another memorable moment at the ceremony came in the form of a song, which was delivered by Taylor Swift. Everyone remembers how Kanye West stomped onto stage last year and declared that Swift should not have won, but the lyrics sung seem to show that she is ready to forgive and move on from that incident. The 2010 MTV VMA Awards were unpredictable, exciting and jam packed with entertainment.
