FIB Heineken : Get Ready to Party
Music and entertainment lovers will want to start making plans to get to Spain now if they don’t want to miss out on the country’s biggest and best festival. The FIB Heineken festival is set to blow minds yet again as thousands of fans descend on Benicàssim for this massive international festival.
FIB stands for “Festival Internacional Benicàssim”. The event truly is international in nature and it is staged in the small coastal town of Benicàssim, Spain, which is not far from Valencia and Barcelona. It is hosted by Heineken, which has gone to great lengths to make sure that the entire event is essentially one roaring party. More than a hundred artists descend on Benicàssim for the festival where they take turns performing on four different stages – and that is just the music! Other great forms of entertainment showcased at the event include art, theatre, cinema and dance. However it is the music that takes center stage. The event was the brainchild of the Maraworld team and their passion for music really shines through. Every year the best of indie rock, electronic and pop on the global scene are brought together to perform at this massive event. The line-up always keeps up with global trends and a few surprises are generally thrown in just to make sure that fans can’t get enough. Of all the music festivals in Europe, this is widely considered to be ‘the one’!
FIB Heineken takes place just a stone’s throw away from the beaches of this beautiful coastal town. While the concerts themselves only last four nights, starting at 17:00 each evening and continuing until 8:00 the next morning, the entire festival continues for a further five days so you can camp on site for a total of nine days if you wish to. If you still have energy after a hard night of partying, you can enjoy the other facets of the festival during the day time as well as spend some time walking the streets of the town or sunning yourself on the beaches of the Mediterranean. This is definitely one event you don’t want to miss out on, so book your tickets now!
