Muskegon Summer Celebration
Looking for the next big party in Michigan this year? The Muskegon Summer Celebration will be thrilling fans from 26 June to 6 July 2008. Affectionately known as ‘The BIG Party’, the Muskegon Summer Celebration is presented by Esurance and will be sponsored by Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Miller, 7 Up, Mercy General Health Partners and Mindscape.
This year will see the use of several new seating platforms to provide patrons with an enhanced concert experience. The different seating options will differ in price and one of the best seats in the house will be on the side of the stage. Not only does this position afford one of the best views available for each concert, but it comes with private restroom facilities and a cash bar. Other seating areas have been reserved specifically for certain nights of the event, so those that are not spending the entire time here will be guaranteed a good time. These tickets will also be somewhat pricey, but those purchasing them will be given private restrooms, a private cash bar and a meal from Brann’s. Unfortunately the view of the stage will be a bit restricted. However those with special tickets will get to skip the general admission line and make use of the main gate to gain access to their seats. Reserved seats are going to enjoy a good position and those with a reserved seat ticket will not need to bring or rent chairs. They may also make use of the Special Access lane and their tickets are much cheaper than the above mentioned options. Of course, there are many other options available and patrons wishing to attend would do well to investigate their options fully.
The line-up for the event has already changed somewhat, but things finally look set for the final event. This year’s event hopes to see the likes of more current and classic rock acts, as well as more R&B and country. Artists currently booked for the event include The Whispers, Montgomery Gentry, Sammy Hagara and Bucky Covington. The Steve Miller Band will also feature special guest Joe Cocker – a real treat for fans. There is also a lot more on offer including fireworks, art and crafts and other brilliant musicians. The Muskegon Summer Celebration will take place on the banks of Lake Michigan and supporters should get there early to make the most of this spectacular annual event.
