Projekt Revolution Is Heading Your Way

Projekt Revolution is an annual concert tour that is headlined by the band Linkin Park. Though it initially took place only in the United States, it has slowly been expanding into other countries. In 2007 the tour included a stop in Toronto, Canada, and in 2008 it will feature several stops in parts of Europe.

The main focus of the tour is to bring artists and fans of rock, hip-hop and other music genres together at one massive annual event. It also increases the number of music festivals that are held annually in the United States. There is usually more than one stage set up for the concert at each venue so that fans can choose to listen to the musicians and music groups they enjoy the most. In the past the tour has brought artists such as Placebo, My Chemical Romance, Cypress Hill and Snoop Dogg together for this massive musical event. The tour has been running since 2002, gradually getting bigger and better with each passing year.

The 2008 Projekt Revolution tour promises to be every bit as good as it was in previous years. With Linkin Park again taking center stage, the tour is set to start on 16 July 2008. There will be 24 shows as the tour makes its way across continents and oceans, delighting fans as it goes. The main stage will be hosting performances by Linkin Park, Chris Cornell, the Bravery and Ashes Divide, while the Revolution Stage will see the likes of Atreyu, Hawthorne Heights, 10 Years, Street Drum Corps and Armor for Sleep. When the tour crosses over to the UK, between 21 and 29 June, the line-up will include the likes of HIM, The Used, The Bravery and N*E*R*D. There will be four shows held in the UK. Other artists that fans can expect to enjoy are Enter Shikari, Pendulum and Jay-Z.
