US 2012 Summer Music Festivals

With the northern hemisphere moving into summer, music fans should start making plans to get to some of the awesome festivals coming up in the US. What better reason for a road-trip than to party at a music festival? Here are just some of the highlights for the beginning of June. Enjoy!

CMA Music Festival 2012:- Taking place on June 7-10, country music fans will not want to miss this annual pilgrimage to Nashville, Tennessee. This festival with a difference gives fans the opportunity to meet their favorite artists, collect autographs and mementos, and maybe even get a souvenir picture together at the Fan Fair Hall. The Kick-Off Parade has country legend Glen Campbell as the Grand Marshall, the All-Stars Marching Band, country artists, celebrities, and Little Big Town as the closing act of the Parade. Other events and activities for the weekend include the Soleil Bella Beach in the Walk of Fame Park, with loads of exciting outdoor games and activities. Bonnaroo Music Festival 2012:- Manchester, Tennessee, is the venue for Bonnaroo on June 7-10. The line-up for this increasingly popular music and arts festival includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, Radiohead, The Avett Brothers, Foster the People, Dispatch, Feist, Alice Cooper, Kenny Rogers, Ludacris, Flogging Molly, The Temper Trap and much more. Desert Rocks 2012:- Taking place on June 7-10, in the spectacular red rock cliff desert surrounding Moab in Utah, Desert Rocks 2012 is a four-day camping event known for its positive vibe. The festival’s theme this year is Celebrating Consciousness and with this in mind Desert Rocks has joined forces with the Conscious Alliance Team – a nonprofit organization dedicated to distributing food to impoverished communities throughout the United States.
