The Global Gathering 2010

The Angel Music Group started The Global Gathering music festival in 2001 and today it is a festival that is hosted across the world. In the year 2006 the festival ventured outside the United Kingdom for the first time, being hosted in Miami, Florida. By the year 2009, The Global Gathering announced it presence in countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Australia, Poland and Belarus. This year The Global Gathering will be celebrating its tenth year of existence and will have a stellar line-up of artists to bring the excitement and festivities to life.

The Global Gathering will be hosted at the Long Marston Airfield in Stratford-upon-Avon on the 30th and 31st of July 2010. It is expected that 50 000 screaming fans will be attending this music spectacular, which will feature sixteen stages with more than 150 artists to entertain audience members. The two days of the festival will bring world known artists to the fans, and the 2010 The Global Gathering lineup includes names such as Chase & Status, Dizzee Rascal, Carl Cox, Faithless, Sasha, Eric Prydz, Above & Beyond, Kissy Sell Out, John O’Callaghan, Stanton Warriors, Sander Van Doorn, Armin Van Buuren, Mark Knight, Joey Riot, Hazard, Lisa Lashes, Kevin Energy, Judge Jules, Jaguar Skills, Nicky Blackmarket and Alex Kidd, to name but a few. Veteran artist to The Global Gathering festival Carl Cox expressed his excitement in regard to performing again, saying: “It’s great to be heading back to Global once again in 2010. The crowd is always amazing and this year I know it will be no different. I’ll be coming this year with my Carl Cox & Friends concept so it’ll be exciting to bring the crowd a selection of my peers that always rock the dancefloor wherever they play.”

The festival will have strict and visible policing throughout the two days to ensure the safety of festival goers, and camping sites are available for fans wanting to attend the entire weekend. Those attending the festival should also ensure they are aware of the rules and regulations for the festival. Tickets have already gone on sale, and music fans are advised to purchase their entrance into The Global Gathering as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
